We love construction games and love any product that can be used as an incentive to power up the ladybugs imagination and creativity. The national award winning Laser Pegs™ is a very unique and engaging game that allows you to create one of a kind designs, and helps make the national award winning Laser Pegs a really neat toy.

What makes this game stand out from the rest is the fact that each piece feeds the next piece low voltage current. You can see your creation light up as you add pieces to the puzzle, or just wait until you are done and plug the final product into the power source( it takes 3 AA batteries).

The game is for kids aged 3 and up and Laser pegs has a really nice selection of different sets with different number of pieces that will allow the kids to create many different items. You can create a bug or let your imagination fly and create numerous designs that you can come up with.

The set they sent me is the KIT 470 that has 20 laser pegs and can built over 6 different models (or create your own design). The power supply is what feeds all the pegs with the power that lights them up.

You have your option to have it turned on or off. Laser Pegs™ use a high quality LED according to the Laser Peg website. It will run about 100,000 hours, which is equivalent to keeping them illuminate non-stop for 11 years…..Not bad at all! You also have the option to get an AC/DC adaptor …. However, If you are having younger kids that want to play with the Laser Pegs, I would recommend just sticking to batteries…..You can never be too careful with kids and electricity.

The set we have contains 36 pieces, but they offer bigger sets and you can always add more sets to your collection. The 470 Kit has a retail price of just $19.99 and it is for sale exclusively at Target. The 470 is just one of the many kits you can get and I can see it being a big hit this coming holiday season.
